To assess the effects against cancer, more studies of international relevance are still needed to draw serious conclusions. Tested on animals, there is a better response to chemotherapy treatments with regular consumption of grape seed extract. Grape seed oil has been shown to be an antioxidant potential with the ability to reduce scaly, pancreatic, hepatic, gastric, oral, hepatic and prostate cell lines in humans, albeit at the laboratory level. What is known today is that a diet rich in antioxidants (flavonoids and proanthocyanidins) is associated with a reduction in the appearance of different types of cancer. The word cancer and cancer prevention is on the lips of many, but only medical studies of global relevance should be heeded. Overall, the results are very favorable and there is enough data to establish that grape seed oil is beneficial for lowering blood pressure. Other studies state that grape seed extract should be taken between 100 and 800 mg daily for 4 months. In this review we found that the best results obtained were for the range of people under 50 years of age and with obesity. The average reduction was 6.08 mmHg for systolic and 2.8 mmHg for diastolic. A review of 16 studies involving more than 800 people found that taking between 100 and 2,000 mg of grape seed extract every day significantly reduced systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
